The Analysis of Documents is a comprehensive lab investigation that aims to analyze different types of paper, ink, pencil marks, typewriting, and handwriting to detect the presence of forgeries or alterations in checks, notes, and messages. The investigation utilizes various techniques such as microscopic observation, UV light, chromatography, replicating techniques, and wet chemistry. In addition, students will also learn to analyze secret messages. The kit includes instructional manuals and reproducible student worksheets. However, microscopes, UV light, hot plate (or heat lamp or oven), lemon juice or milk, erasers, cotton balls, clear tape, small jars, watch glasses, or beakers are required but not included in the kit. The investigation is designed for 24 students working in six groups of four and meets national standards for grade levels 6-12. Shipping within the US
All orders will be shipped via insured UPS ground or as per your choice of UPS services. UPS will not deliver to P.O Box(s). Be sure to give us a physical address otherwise the shipment may be delayed. You will receive an email notification with a tracking number when the order is in transit. Orders that have already been shipped cannot be canceled.
