Units have a rugged plastic tank that can be installed in a wide variety of locations. These units are ideal for use where a continuous supply of potable water is not available, especially in remote plant areas, low traffic, and/or low-hazard areas.
Tank: 16-gallon capacity safety green polyethylene tank. The tank has a built-in carrying handle, heavy wall construction, and reinforced ribs to support the weight of the unit.
Operation: Top operate the unit, fill the unit with clean potable water, and add bacteriostatic additive (supplied with unit). Additive protects against the growth of bacteria, fungus, algae, and acanthamoeba. The unit should be inspected regularly and the water in the unit should be changed at least once every six months.
Spray Head Assembly: Water flow is activated by pulling down on the bright yellow eye wash tray. Integral full-flow nozzles deliver a soft spray of water. Swing the tray up to the storage position to stop the flow.
Drain: Waste water is directed into the drain opening in the tank basin. A 3 ft. long drain hose in the basin directs discharge into a floor drain, storage tank, or other receptors.
Mounting: Furnished with an epoxy-coated steel bracket for a mounting unit on the wall. The unit can also be placed on a countertop or another flat surface.
Discharge Time: Eye wash delivers .7 gallons per minute for 15 minutes.
Weight: 19 lbs. (8.6 kg) empty, 145 lbs. (65.8) full.
Quality Assurance: The unit is completely assembled and water-tested prior to shipment.
